This sensor is used for contactless detection of moving objects. It uses an infrared class 1 laser with point grid recognition. Parameterization is carried out via PC software. After parameterization, the units pulse/mm, m/min and mm can be used. If the sensor remains connected to the software during operation, the traverse speed can be read from it. In addition, a rotary encoder output (A / B 90° phase-shifted) is available so that a travel distance can be displayed when connected to a corresponding counter. A further switching output can be programmed as a zero point (e.g. every 50 mm) or as an alarm output.
