Surge arrester with pluggable cartridge, Acti9 iPRD C20r, 3P+N, 5kA, type 2+3, Compact, with remote monitoring
Experience this Acti9 iPRD C20r surge arrester which protects industrial and tertiary buildings installations against direct and indirect transient overvoltages. This is a 3P+N compact modular device with a 2+3 surge arrester class type without a surge adapted backup fuse. It can be associated to a 63A fusible disconnect device with a gG fuse or to a 40A circuit breaker. it offers a remote monitoring and also a front face local signalling with a green flag when the device is opeartional and with a red flag when the device needs to be changed. This surge arrester allows quick replacement of withdrawable cartridges when they are damaged. It is compatible with TT and TN-S earthing system. It works on a Ue rated operational voltage of 230/400VAC under a frequency of 50Hz or 60 Hz. The Uc maximum continuous operating voltage is 275VAC in differential mode (L-N) and 255VAC in common mode (N-PE). The In nominal discharge current is 5kA growing to a Imax maximum discharge current of 20kA with a L-N protection mode and 20kA growing to a Imax maximum discharge current of 40kA with a N-PE protection mode. The Uoc open circuit voltage is 6000V in differential mode (L-N) and common mode (N-PE). The Up voltage protection level is 1kV in differential mode (L-N) and 1.5kV in common mode (N-PE). It is clipped on the DIN rail. The dimensions are (W) 36mm x (H) 90mm x (D) 70mm and offers more place to mount other devices on DIN rail due to its compact width. The weight is 268g. The IP degree of protection is IP20 with device wired. The operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C. This product complies with the EN 61643-11 standard with the 2011, 2012 and A11:2018 amendment. The range iPRD provides a high performance protection and continuity of service with compact or self-protected version devices. The iPRD devices are used in residential as well as in commercial buildings or in industry.
